Initial Focus for SOS - Success on STEAM
The U.S. Forest Service has asked Dr. Rock to focus the initial study for SOS on the White Pine (Pinus strobus) and Sugar Maple (Acer saccharum); trees that are under stress possibly due to climate change. As SOS moves into new areas of the country, different bioindicator plants, or other organisms or factors, will be identified for study.
